Formulation of a Comprehensive Cooperative System for Fostering Researchers with Doctoral Degrees

Overview

Hokkaido University, together with Tohoku University and Nagoya University, submitted a project proposal to participate in the Project for Establishing a Consortium for the Development of Human Resources in Science and Technology (Program for Training Researchers for the Next Generation) promoted by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT). After the project proposal was approved by the ministry, in AY2014, the three universities began working on the Formulation of Comprehensive Cooperative System for Fostering Researchers with Doctoral Degrees. In this project, the three universities (Hokkaido University, Tohoku University and Nagoya University) form a consortium and construct a system for developing next-generation human resources who will contribute to various fields.
